4 year old puts stuffed animal & toys in her pants

Hello.  My four year old daughter has recently started putting stuffed animals & blankets down her pants.  She generally does this at night when she is trying to go to sleep but recently she will hide behind the couch or go in her room and do it.  I've talked to other parents I know and they have said this is normal behavior however is still concerns me.  I'm not quite sure how to handle this situation with my daughter or how to talk to her about it either.

Has there been any change in her life recently ,has she siblings a new edition to the family , started daycare or preschool?

The only change that has happened is she finished preschool for the year on 6/1 but she was only going one day a week and she started swimming lessons.  The only thing I can think of is she's been upset because she doesn't get to see her teacher as she really liked her teacher.

You could ask her why she does it and see what she says..maybe pay no attention to it and it will stop, if its getting her attention that could be why she is doing it .Do you take her to swimming ;lessons, does she ;like them and the swim teacher ?

She loved the swimming lessons.  She's only had 1 so it was kind of hard to gage if she liked the teacher but she's very excited to go back.  I've asked her why she does it and her answers are way off topic (i.e. school, cartoon characters, whatever).
