4 year old with refusing to use potty

My daughter is 4 years old..she potty trained very quickly by 2 1/2 and just recently started having multiple accidents a day.I will ask her if she needs to go and she will reply no but within a few mins will pee her pants. She never use to wet the bed at night time and now all the sudden is wetting her bed almost everynight.I have read online about stress possibly being a key factor in childrens behavior - a close family member has moved away and she was very close to this person but its not possible to get that person to be back in the area - would something like this cause my daughter to be having accidents?how long does it last?she will be going to school in September..entering upk and i am very worried about her having accidents while she is at school.I am having a very hard time with allowing her to wear pullups to bed but i do not have a choice as i am washing her bedding daily..any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

Let her wear pullups or even night diapers.  Don't say anything to her about the need to do so.  Give her extra reassurance, and help her write letters or draw pictures for the person who moved away, and let her talk to the person on the phone.  Things should calm down after a while, if you treat the situation with love and reassurance.
