4 yr old twins behaviour

i have 4yr old twins (girls), they dont listen to us,  we try to explain them what is good n bad but they dont want to understand us. they r becoming very naughty n misbehave in the house. whenever we try to correct they dislike it n get annoyed with us n start crying or throw trantum. we r only two of us in the house (both the parents) no external help for us. its really becoming very difficult to handle? pls advice how to over come this problem.

When they are naughty use the time out method , as they get older take away privileges,and twins need separating sometimes as they egg each other on,very often one is the boss, and leads in any fray , have you noticed one is an instigator ? Make sure they are not bored just sitting watching TV get them playing games sports and outside activities., board games are good children love them and games like Charades where they can act . good luck

With twins there is usually one who is the instigator and one who follows, so when one is being'naughty separate them ,distraction also works and also as I said keep them busy it will get better once they are at school and occupied.Good book out there we all recommend is Lynn Clark's SOS for Parents with good tips on how time out works .
