4yr old son out of control? or something deeper

My 4 yr old son has recently been acting out. He is disruptive at his daycare and has been kicked out of there for hitting the teachers, not following directions, doing things that are harmful to himself and others like jumping off tables and climbing bookshelves. He acts out at home as far as smart mouthing, back talking, hitting me, throwing things. The past couple of months he now has been saying a voice is telling him to be bad. He tells me he tries to tell the voice no he wants to be good then acts bad. At first I thought he was just playing or maybe has heard someone else say it but now its getting worse and everything is this "voice" and when he does something wrong he apologizes for it and says next time he will try and tell the voice to be good. He has seen our family doctor who reffered us to a behavior clinic that cannot see us for 3 months. Im worried this "voice" will tell him to harm my self or my 8 month old son or himself. What should I do? I know this isnt normal 4 yr old behavior and I know this has nothing to do with the baby. Any suggestions or places I could take him in the Columbus Ohio area? Thanks

I can relate a little - when my son does something he knows he wasn't supposed to or gets hurt, he always says "Brandon did it" or "Brandon made me", etc. (Brandon is a wild child at his school).
I would recommend that if he blames the voice, don't play along and ask what the voice said or why it said that - tell your son that the voice is not real, and he alone is in charge of what he does (and you, of course).
Don't know if that will help, but good luck.
