by may360, Nov 03, 2009 01:44PM
My only 4yrs5months daughter doesn't want to go school.she started going to "parents participating school" when she was 3yrs6months thats only for 3months...we were out of county for round 5months...In this time i was preparing her this time she has to go all by herself...when we r back..we joined her in to 5halfdays preschool.. First day to school i joined her...second day she went all by herself but it took some time to leave her there..she was ok at school..she used to ask me to join her to school..but i used to say u are grownup and u hav to go alone..Its was going on well ..but one day when we are having lunch she was crying and said she doent want to go to school. .i was asked for reason but she couldnt say...next day she was fine at sschool..

After few days she was sick and couldnt went for 3 days..next when i am getting prepared to her school she was saying "i dont want to go to school" some how i prepared her and made her to sit in the car when my husband took her school she was not leaving him ...oone of the teacher forcely took her by that my daughter did susu(toilet) on the teacher. My husband doesnt want to leave her in that condition so he dropped her back at home...i hav disconnected the Cable connection and Internet at home  for that day and  she spent all the day with her toys and coloring(she doesn't know it was disconnected by me).She promoised teacher she will come to school next day..next day she went and had a good time.

Today when i woke her she said i dont want to go to school ..some how i managed to get her prepared by saying she will miss her paly time at school. When She was leaving she asked me to come upto car and to keep her the seatbelt..so i did it..when my husband about to start the car,
she was saying "if i feel hungry " i said i got u peanuts u can eat,
she said "what if i am thirsty at school before snack time" i said u can ask ur teacher she will help u"
she said "what is i get cough" then i said it will ok honey
then she started crying i dont want to go school i am scared...i said nothing to sacred of.. ur teacher are friends then she repeated the same..then i said its ok dont go(i tought last incident may repeate)..then when my husband was starting to go she was in a confusion whether to go or not...i asked if u want to go u go other wise u stay at home then she said for this day i want to stay at home i said ok...i did the same i disconnected the cable..

i asked "why u dint went to school?".she says Cinderalla(toy) asked her to stay at home for a today.
I said to my daughter i would be busy so i cant spend time with u till 12:00noon(thats her school time)..i cant read u a book or talk to you...she cried for some time and she was asking me questions..and played with her toys and doodle. After some time i started talking to her and she promised to go to school tomorrow.

please help me in this i am very much worried.

I think you need to find out why she is doing this not punish her, that will only make it worse, it seems that there could be an issue with the teacher so ask questions and be on your childs side. if she is unhappy there find alternative arrangements .Something is wrong ,ask why she is so upset at going to school, check out there is no bullying going on.

I am wondering how good her English is.  If she was out of the country for 5 months and speaking her native tongue, that really hurts your communication skills.  Do you speak English at home?   If you are a little kid and can't easily communicate, its tough.
What she needs is a friend at school.  It only takes one and she will be fine.  See if the teacher can do anything to help that along.
