5 year old, uncontrolable at school

My son is 5 and in kindergarden. He is having a very very hard time there. He screams at his teachers, throws things, hit and kicks other students, refuses to be in time out. He refuses to go to group time. He is only mildly defiant at home, but school is much much worse. Academicaly he is over his age level, socially...well he can't get along with anyone his age. I've tried adderall (adderrall) with no success. His older sister also had some of these problems but not as severe. She was put on ritalyn and it too was no help. He has already been suspended and the teachers and councilers are giving me little options. At home he is very loving and pretty normal. Please help!!!!

A very strong possibility is that your son is displaying the symptoms of a mood disorder or of disruptive behavior disorder. A clinical evaluation is in order, and it makes sense to pursue this right away. This is far outside the spectrum of an average behavior problem.

have aa son with the same problems to a tee my question is should we ge a behavioral  evaluations or let the shrink decide im very much against drugs help

If a child displays a mood disorder, medication is an appropriate intervention and should be considered.
