5 year old exceptionally bright kid hallucinating at night

My 5 year old daughter is very very precocious. She is a fast reader, has exceptional linguistic skills and has surprisingly mature emotional development. She is highly creative- sketches well. She is left handed. As any Indian kid she has been growing up on a dose of mythological stories with many magical and demonic characters
Recently she would complain of being scared to go into a dark room, or would have very vivid dreams that would scare her. last night she woke up my wife and had the most vivid description of -having received my phone call, some said there was some light in my cupboard and music coming from it. She was definitely awake, and not dreaming. Because my wife and her switched on the lights, went and investigated everything including checking for missed calls on the cellphone. next morning she continues to describe everything vividly.
I don't know if its a scare after watching the movie "a beautiful mind" we have always been a bit on edge due to her exceptional brilliance. Now this is really scaring us off . She is a very healthy and physically active child, and is quite relaxed and fun loving. She is the life force in our little home and adored by her elder sister. There is no trauma incident or anything abnormal in our home- thanks God. But this incident and few before (non as serious as this) is causing great anxiety. Can you advise please
