6 Month Feeding Fussing

6 Month Feeding Fussing

Hello,

Our baby girl is a wonder to be around, always a beauty and always smiles......except when we sit her in her high chair to feed her stage 1 & 2 baby foods.  She has fed for 1 month without issue, but recently, about a week, when we sit her in her chair, she starts to whine and fuss.  She seems to enjoy the food, but she often strains like she's constipated.

We thought that was what it was, but its now happening when we sit her in her chair prior to even feeding her.  Basically we put her in the chair, she acts like that, we take her out and she does not.

Our pediatrician says it sounds behavioral. The only time that she does not do it is in the morning when she eats rice cereal.  At lunch and dinner she east puree's, but again, she seems to enjoy the food.

We are at a loss and feel so bad for her as her experience is getting worse.  The schedule usually goes like this; She sits in the chair eats a veggie then a fruit, then a small bottle out of the chair. We were also told not to feed the bottle and the food right next to one another, but if we feed her the formula first she will fill up and wont eat her food.

I am thinking that she enjoys the food but does not get satisfied fast enough to enjoy.  At this point short of having a specialist come in and watch her, we are at a loss.  We love our little Bella and want her to be happy.  Please help.

Thank you,
