Have you ever considered that the new teacher may be the problem? It sounds like to me she has only been behaving like this since the new teacher. Or are there any new students? Maybe a move, or new addition to the family or mom/dad lose or start a new job, new babysitter,etc? Have you asked why she says or behaves like this? Also too, kids tend to start new changes in their personalities when they start school, maybe they have a new friend that may be "cool or popular" and she may be trying to be like a friend.Think back to when this new attitude started. What might have happened around the same time that would have affected her. I hope these thoughts help you out. Good luck.
