My 6 year old has recently shown a problem in his bowel movements. He always seems to have an accident in his underwear. He was difficult to potty train as a toddler, but has been fine for years with the proper usage of the toilet. We are now going through at least 2 pairs of underwear a day. And that is only when he tells me he has done it. I am at my wit's end. We have tried everything!!
my child is 8 now and has had this problem for the last couple of years.he cant seem to controlControl Control rx his stools which are not diarrhea but still soft.we have had test for everything lactoseGalactose-1-phosphate uridyltransferase Lactose intolerance Lactose tolerance tests, crones.hes had both the cameras at the hospital.if terrible because its spoiling is quality of life.your always on your guard when you take him anywhere.
my child has no stresses at home,we have another littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys boy of whos had just the same upbringing and doesnt suffer at all.(those kind of comments come from doctors all the time and it really gets on my nerves).
im really simpathetic for you because i know how frustrating it is dealing with this.
my son has now got to go for a sucrose test next month.so if that comes back negative i dont know what we will do.
encopresis is when they are constipated and you get some leakage after the bowel has swelled up.i would hope the hospital would have noticed it could be this for our boy as hes been there enough.
my heart goes out to you and i hope you get it sorted
cheers dayle
Best wishes.
