6 yr old boy with various behavioral problems

We are at wits end with our 6yr old boy.  He is currently in the 1st grade and excells academically.  He can be a very sweet boy with alot of energy. He can usually be contained in public to some degree, but we don't go out much because of his behavior.  We have several children and he is about in the middle.
He can't stand to have anyone do anything better than him or not his way - very perfectionistic.  Also, very impulsive.  When disciplined he will call himself "stupid", you "stupid" and no matter what privileges are taken away, it doesn't have a lasting impact.  He is usually only remorseful for a something if he gets caught, then he will say he didn't do it or he didnt mean to. He can't sit still and even in the psychologists office was almost literally bouncing off the walls.  You can repeat his name many times any eventually he will say "what?" answer your question briefly or change the subject.  He can play on the computer for hours with great intent as long as everything goes his way.
We were told he might have an anxiety problem, however, there is no indication that he is nervous or worried about anything, except if he gets caught.  The only other medical issue he has ever had is febrile seizures.
Urinating all over the bathroom or his bedroom is a favorite impulsive move.  Punching one of his brothers or another child at school for a minor offense is a close second.  At this point we don't know what to do, any suggestions?

it is tough diagnosing any kids really.  Let us know what they say about him.  I am in the same boat as you trying to figure out why my five year old acts as he does.

His behavioral issues are where ever he is.  He is very active and loves to play very active but the behavior doesn't seem to change, in fact the more active he is, the more aggressive he plays.  The psychologist has suggested that he may have an anxiety disorder, but we are doing the tests on that now.  He seems to do well with one on one time but he is insatuable.  You could spend all day with just him and he would say the next day that we never spend any time with him.

Thanks for the thoughts!! I'm open to anything.

My son does much better on days when he has a lot of phsyical activity.  Like I took him one day to climb up some rocks, he does so well at that.  He is very content doing it.

what did the psychologist say?  Sounds hyperactive, but lots of boys are.  Does he mainly have the behavioral issues only at home??
