6.5 Month Twin Delayed Motor Skills - Very Concerned

Hi,

My frat twins were born at 37 week, and had fairly bad silent reflux as well. They are now 6.5 months and I am concerned with my little boy. He is almost sitting, he is rolling, very interactive, responsive to his name etc and has hits the milestones so far on time. I became concerned when he started not reaching above his head for items (while laying down) and concentrates very hard when bringing both arms to get something. He will get it but not hold it for long, but other things like my hands and towels etc he will hang onto for ages.

I went to the pead and he said muscle tone is even, everything moves (when the pead moves it) how it should and he still within the 'normal limits' etc. Just wait and see how he is at 9 months. My first thought was cerebral palsy as he was stiff as well. But since going to the osteopath he is significantly more relaxed.

My concern is the motor skills. Its just not right - especially in comparison with his twin sister. He does grab for things it just seems like such an effort and he cant get his hand around he properly. He can reach above his head as he pulls his blankets up there and swings toys up there once they are in his hand.

Ohh sorry just thought of another example - when he is eating a biscuit he would prefer for me to hold it and he will drop his head to get it rather then raise his arms.

I am so incredibly concerned that I lay awake at night :(
