7 Year Old Petrified to Sleep Alone

My seven year old daughter is afraid of being alone in her room. She tells me she is afraid of movies that have frightened her (the grinch) and they are childrens movies. She will not go back to sleep once she wakes up during the night. She will yell for me (mom) and is even afraid to get up from her bed to come and get me in my room. She is waking up the entire household. She is an anxious child and was even afraid of getting into a mall elevator the other day, which surprised me. She was crying and said she was afraid of getting stuck in it. She's afraid of loud noises and even flushing the toilet after using it.
I have done everything she has asked to help her (change her bed around, kept lights on etc.) and am at wits end.
Should I continue to push her? I am exhausted at night and end up sleeping in her bed. She was sleeping with her sister (10 year old) at one point and was fine---will she "grow out of it" and therefore allow her to sleep with her sister until then?

Please help.
