8 year old daughter

My 8 year old daughter is hitting and spitting at classmates when they do not acknowledge her...for instance...if she thinks a word is spelled wrong and tells another student and they don't acknowledge it, she pulls their hair or in the case of today, spit in her mouth.

She also has an odd behavior of wearing inappropriate clothing for the season etc., insists on wearing capri pants and flip flops in February and will hide them when she knows that we do not want her to.  

Please help.

I expect the teacher had appropiate bounderies for your daughters behavior in class, have you spoken with her,She cannot wear inappropiate clothing unless you allow it, how about you set out the clothes she would wear for school or do you mean at weekends when I would say that is okay.Be firm and tell her she needs to put those clothes on for school but may wear what she wants at weekends,
