My 8 year old step-daughter began having several potty accidents in a day. This has been going on for about a month now. We have tried to sit down and talk over the problem to see if there are any issues, but she denies anything happening to her. She also tries to cover it up and is lying about the accident (which from what I understand is commonCommon cold because of embarrassment?). I’m not sure what to do to help her stop having so many accidents. Please help!
If it's bladder accidents, you might want to get her checked for a bladder infection.
If it's bowel accidents, look up "encopresis".
Best wishes.
