8 year old suddenly not wanting to sleep in her room

My 8-year-old granddaughter has recently not wanted to sleep in her room  She wants to sleep with my son and his wife (not her biological mother).  She sleeps with her mother when she is with her.  She screams before she has to go to bed and then, even my son lays down with her until she is asleep, will be at their bedroom door screaming with 30-60 minutes.  This is a recent change for her.  I am concerned about this.  This is not a new house or new bed for her.  I can't tell my son how to handle this.  He just got married in May, although they lived together for three years.  My granddaughter loves his wife, so she is not the problem.  Can you help?

She may love her but she is jealous of the sleeping arrangements, she should have her own room and not sleep in with her Dad orhis wife, ignore the Tantrums ,and she will get used to it, Speak to your son you are the childs Granmom and are concerned .
