I will be taking on the role of care-giver to a 4 1/2 yr. old boy with ADHA, autism and PDD - what is PDD and what can I expect for this child?

Dear Carol,

PDD means Pervasive Developmental Disorder. It is a category of childhood emotional disorders characterized by impairments in reciprocal social interaction, in social communication, and by stereotyped and repetitive behaviors. Autism is one form of Pervasive Developmental Disorder.
