Abnormal Teenage boy sexual behavior

Recently my 15 y/o step son came back to live with his father and me, he had been living with his mother who is Bi-sexual. His return to us was precipitated by his truancy in school, his failing grades and his utter lack of respect for everyone, hence his behavior was out of control while living with his mother. Since he has been back (Feb 08') we have caught him taking my panties. We don't know what he does with them and he says he doesn't know why he takes them. We also have proof and by my step sons own admittance that he puts things in his anus. Items such as Sharpie Pens, Water Bottles and Turkey Basters are a few of the items that have been discovered. We/I are at a loss of what to make of all this. We have scheduled a doctor appt to look at a referral to a mental health professional. Could he be gay? Could he have been abused? Any help or comments are welcome.

Wow.  It sounds like he was exposed to some sort of sexual experiences that he should not have been.  At his age, it could have been other teens or people that he hung around.  It is important for him to feel loved and accepted, not to feel repulsed by this behavior (even if you feel this way). Definately get him to a doctor, therapist, etc.  I would probably keep a close eye on him and his wherabouts.  You may want to discuss the dangers of this kind of behavior.  He could puncture something or even get something stuck.  I don't know that I would label him gay.  He is probably confused and experimenting.

you are not alone, my stepson who is 13 has been doing the same thing, and we cant figure out why,he says he doesnt know why, but we are looking for help for him, please let me know what i can do.
