Anger in a 10yof

Anger in a 10yof

We have a 10 year old daughter that I feel has anger problems.  When she gets mad she will hold her breath and her face will turn red and then her body shakes.  She will also pull her hair very hard or bite her self.  Are these things normal for a girl her age.  We believe she also has add because she can never sit down or focus on one thing with out being distracted.  Please give some advise on what we should do.

Thanks

To add to the above story, tonight she got nad at her sister and stood up and spit on her.  I really dont know if this is normal for her age.

This is not normal for a child her age.  Anger outbursts are common in children with ADD/ADHD because they cannot control the anger impulse.  My son has spit on others on many occasions, although this is not normal.  Please get her to a doctor or a therapist, or both.

Good luck and God bless

Well, she might just be really mad at something.  Maybe something in her life is really, really stressing her out and she takes it out on everyone around her?  Does she have any problems that she talks of at all?
