Autism, erections, and peeing

My son is almost 5 and hates the doctors office, so I want some insight before I make him go. My son is high functioning and since he was a baby, he has always had ALLOT of erections.  He is almost 5 and still gets them ALL the time.  Since we have been trying to potty train, it seems every time he goes to use the potty, instead of peeing he gets an erection. It happens here at home and at school.  Why? and should I be concerned and how can I get him to pee?  Does it make it difficult for him to pee with an erection? any other incite on this?

Well, you can't MAKE him pee. I'm not sure if you should be worried though. Have you talked to his doctor about this?
