Bad sleeping habits!

I have a beautiful little two year old. I'm a first time parent along with my husband, and in some areas we've gone all wrong. My 2 year still sleeps with us, still has a pacifier and will not go to sleep without a trusted family member by her side. She has a habit of holding someone's hand while she goes to sleep.
I want her to sleep in her own and bed and also to be able to fall asleep on  her own.
I'm frustrated that she wakes up when no one is next to her and that she's too big to be in our bed now.

How do I start all over with out losing my sanity???

ha ha Well done for accepting that you know its you creating the problem ,the pacifier is okay ,in my opinion, they do let them go eventually I dont see many sucking on them at school,. I can tell you that she has you under her little gorgeus thumb, and you have to let go...by the way it is okay to sleep with ones own flesh and blood many families sleep together in Europe it isnt a sin ..so unless you want the bed for just you two, carry on.However I do agree the kicking and restlessness can be tiring to say nothing of poor Dad having to wait till a private moment arrives .so get tough, start putting her into her own bed/crib and leaving her , she will yell, you will hate it, but after a few nights she will accept it..The answer is always consistancy ...good luck
