Brother against brother

I have two boys. A 6yr old and a 5yr old. These boys fight constantly. from the time they get up til the time they go to bed theyre fighting. They fight over anything,small things, petty things. The only time that they arent fighting is when they are sleep or when they are apart. These boys fight over anything. I've even caught my oldest son putting his hands around his brothers neck while they were fighting. I just dont get it. why do they fight so bad and so much? i need suggestions. anything Im open to any suggestions.

I think its normal, mine did it, and now my grandkids are doing it and about the same ages yours are. What I did was separate them. If they could not get along without fighting they were not allowed to play or get into each others space. That pretty much took care of it most of the time. Of course you always have those times when they sneak and punch each other when yer not looking! ! lol
