CHILD SLEEP PATERN

I would like to know your opinion on the following issue. Should 7 year old child sleep with their parent? If yes, why, af not why not? Thanks

My PERSONAL OPINION is that children should not be sleeping with their parents ever.  If children want to snuggle on the couch or while watching a movie I don't see any problem.  My son and I snuggle all the time.  He never sleeps with us.  He has his own room and his own bed.  I tuck him in every night and he is happy and sleeps well.  I think it is inappropriate for parents and children to be sleeping together.  I do understand though that many people sleep with their children.  You have to raise your child how you see fit.  At seven I feel this child should not be sleeping with a parent.  At all.

I agree with genesis I also do not see why a child should not sleep with the parent till puberty pops up, they usually don't want to then anyway .It is indeed a personal choice, many families around the world choose to have the family bed, I would also say that if its the Mom's BF not their Dad I would not have them sleep together with the child. It is also good that both parents are on the same page about it..good luck.
