Can I get pregnant whilst Breastfeeding?

I am feeding my 11 month old baby and trying to have another, I do get periods on average of every 25 days, since my baby was 4 months old.  I assumed that because I had a period I could get pregant?

It is supposed to be harder to get pregnant while breastfeeding...but you certainly can!  I speak from experience.  I got pregnant while my daughter was still breastfeeding and only about seven months...she was breastfeeding virtually full time, we had just barely introduced any additional foods.  I had NOT even had a period yet.  I had no clue I was even pregnant until a couple of months later when for no reason she started making faces and grimacing when she nursed, and indicating her displeasure, and started wanting regular food and drink instead of the breast.  Seems breast milk changes when you are pregnant, and my daughter didn't like the changes.  I was three months pregnant when the pregnancy was confirmed.  Between two pregnancies and breast feeding two kids....I didn't have a period for almost 3 years!

Yes you can get pregnant while breast feeding. People used to think that because we somtimes do not have a period whild breast feeding, we can't get pregnant. Not true. Be patient, you should have no problem
