my daughter that is only 2 and a half years old is masterbating (masturbating) on my corner edges of the coffee tables or a night stand or a bed frame, I have tried deterring her away from this behaviour I've tried everything from yelling ,telling her not to do it in front of me or anyone else for that matter, taking the furniture away all together but my daughter doesn't really have any communication skills but she sure does understand when I threaten to put her to her room.I have two children on the autismAutism Autism - resourcesspectrumSpectrum-4, my son and daughter 3 and two years old are both masterbating (masturbating) and I fearFears and phobias they have obsessiveObsessive-compulsive disorder Obsessive-compulsive personality disorder compulsive disordersAdjustment disorder Anorexia nervosa Asperger syndrome Autism Autoimmune disorders Bipolar disorder Bipolar disorder Bleeding disorders Borderline personality disorder Bulimia Chronic motor tic disorder with certain things in relation to the autisticAutistic behavior symptoms, they both haven't been diagnosed yet but the doctors and care aids all say they both are.
I fear that if I don't get the funding for their therapies soon they will never stop these behaviours.
How can you discipline a child for masterbating (masturbating)?
Now some people might think thats mean to treat them that way over a normal act,but when children can't understand very many things and they are doing something so socially awkward it's very hard to know waht to do.I've tried the just ignorign thing, but autistic children mine anyway do alone anyway they don't do it for attention it's to feel good and I can understand that with allt he frusterations they are going through mentally they may feel that helps relieve them.I don't want to have to yell or treat my children like they do everything wrong all the time.
