Concerned about my 7 year old nephew,

by paypay698, Oct 30, 2009 01:10PM
My 7 year old nephew has been acting very strange at school. His teachers are constantly call my sister, to tell her about his behavior. We try to talk to him and ask him why is he misbehaving and all we get from him is "I don't know". At home he acts very different and at school he throws things around, fights with teachers and students, breaks things, gets very angry and we don't know why? This is the second school he attends and he has the same behavior. My brother-in-law don't want to accept that my nephew might need medical help, what could I do?

Your nephew definitely needs professional intervention and should be evaluated by a pediatric behavioral health clinician. It would not be wise to let this situation continue without intervention.
