Diarrhea

Diarrhea

My 11 months old baby (boy) is passing loose stools for the past 1 week. The color if the stools is green and is mucous like at times, I spoke to his doctor he suggested some medication along with ORS. His condition doesn't seem to be getting better. He also doesn't show any interest in solid food, he is breastfeeding normally though. He used to eat (solids) well but as I mentioned not showing any eagerness to eat. He already has got 6 of his teeth and never had any significant teething trouble. This is the first incident of diarrhea in him. Please suggest me what I should do.

Thanks a lot for your help. I shall surely check with his doc about the virus infection. BTW, how long does the Roto viral infection take to get cured? I know how Im sounding but I have already seen too much of loose stools. Thanks in advance.

As you are breast feeding check out your diet and any meds you are taking .

i think it depends because all children are different. but its like having the flu there isnt anything u can do except keep them from getting dehydrated and let it run its course
