Divorced New Relationship and Child

by YvetteY, Apr 23, 2007 12:00AM
My sister is divorced and has a 5YO dau from their marriage.  My sister has been separated from the husband for over 6 months.  She is involved with another man.   However, her daughter got jealous of mom and BF spending time together when my sister tried to introduce her dau to BF.

Is there an easy way to do this so the daughter won't be jealous or throw tempertantums.   Dau is pretty clingy to mom and is use to having her mom to herself.

Is it too soon for mom to start dating?  Could this be a problem?  The relationship could get very serious and they could possibly get married.

This is much too soon.  This child has just lost her home and her family.  Your sister needs to back off and take it slow.
