Sometimes I have tried as soon as he wakes up, his sleeping has considerably reduced as well and will sleep for half hr sometimes or an hr and then wakes up.
Is there something I should be worried about or something I can do.
Is it breast milkBreast milk Breast milk jaundice Lactose intolerance Nipple discharge - abnormal or formula? Have you taken him to the doctor to explain what is going on. He may be allergic to the formula or if it's breastmilk he may be allergic to something in it(that you've eaten) or just allergic to it in general. Also when he does drink the milk, does he spit up a lot of it? This can also be a sign of lactose intolerant or allergies to the milk. These things can develop later than straight from birth so i would definitely get him an appointment and checked out with a doctor.
Thanks for your suggestions. I am pumping and giving him breast milk, predominatley breast milk.
We recently had a doctors appointment for his first set of shots and doctor said this could just be phase he's going through. We have considered it could be an ear infection, but he is drinking, but just fussy. He seems to take the pacifer too - if he has an ear infection wouldn't he not drink at all or take the pacifier?
In regards to spitting up, he doesn't spit up a lot, just the normal.
I am also trying to get him off the pacifier as he needs to have it in his mouth when he's sleeping -any tips?
As far as ear infections mine would still eat just cry in between and they still took a paci and taking the paci away the only thing I can suggest is when your ready to take it, just take it and throw it away and give it no more. I waited to take my kids paci. My oldest was about 2 1/2 he was hard because my youngest still had one when he gave it up my oldest did also, my youngest was 1 he just threw it down and didn't want it anymore the bottle was a different story for him, he was 2 1/2. There teeth are fine though no cavities, no crooked teeth. So they were fine.
