Drooping eyelids in 4 year old

I have a grand daughter soon to turn 4 years old.  About 6 weeks ago we noticed her eyelids were drooping, she appeared sleepy all the time.  Her general practioner had no answers. Ear, nose and throat doctor had no answers, she does have ear tubes.  She was checked for allergies, none were present.  After a couple of weeks here eyes appeard normal again, now the same thing is happening all over.  She looks like an older person who has Ptosis, but all doctors say they have never seen this in a child her age.  We are very concerned.  She eats well, takes naps, and appears healthy in all other areas.  We wonder if anyone else has experienced this in a child and could offer any input on the subject???

You certainly have done the correct thing by pursuing medical evaluation. This type of condition is not within my area of expertise to comment on, but perhaps one of the Forum's readers can be helpful.
