Foot Fetish

My best friends son is 3 yrs. old, i just got temp. custody, and he has to be holding the feet of anyone that he becomes attatched to. He rubs them on his "private parts" and licks them and kisses them. He puts them on his head, and if he wakes up in the middle of the night, he will sneak down to the foot of the bed and hold them and then go back to bed.  If you dont let him he will throw a huge fit and keep asking if he can "hold your feet"  when I or anyone he has become attatched to goes to leave, he will throw himself at your feet, grab them and sit on them or hold on to them and not let go, and accuse them of never coming back. and forgetting him.  What should i do? I keep explaining to him that no one is going to leave him.  But he doesnt believe it..  His mom has left him alone so much and with people he doesnt know so she could go do meth and whatever she can get her hands on... that is why i have him now... Do you think he has abandonment issues???  She wants to keep him when it is convieneint for her, and only when he is not crying, and only when he is asleep.  When i ask him if he wants to go see her, he screams No! and throws a fit.. and says he hates her...   I know hes only 3!!  But what should i do?????    Advice please!!

teach not to hate, that's very important.  As for the feet thingy, I wouldn't worry about it, just enjoy the love and attention while you have it because if he was to be gone out of you life you would miss it.  I use to do the same thing when I was a kid all the way up to like 4th grade, than I found other hobbys
