Girl on the Move

Girl on the Move

I have a 4-year old daughter who has displayed problems with self-comforting movement since she was an infant. She normally will be laying on her tummy (watching tv, playing a game, coloring etc.) and intertwine her legs tightly and being a rocking movement for lack of a better term. She will sometimes end up breaking out in a sweat from moving so much (it was not this often or to this degree when she was younger). When she was an infant we asked her pediatrician about it and she said it was normal and not to worry.  It seems like she goes in phases where she does it a lot (like recently) and then other times not hardly at all. It doesn't distract her at all but it is concerning us.  She is normal in her development as any other 4 yr old.  She does have asthma pretty bad and has had to be on Orapred (steroid) quite a bit in her short life as well as Pulmicort.  I am trying to find out what this would be called and if there is any information on it. Thanks in advance for any advice that can be offered.
