My grandson was 3 in June. He loved me very much until about 2 months ago and all of a sudden he doesn't want to have much to do with me. I don't know of anything I have done and this really hurts my feelings because it has come on all of a sudden. He is a very shyMultiple system atrophy child and won't hardly speak with any person we meet. He is not shyMultiple system atrophy at home. I don't know how to handle this situation and get him back to acting like he loves me again. Mimmie
TRy your best not to take this personally. It is very likely your grandchild is not reacting to anything in particulalr that you have done. Continue to be loving and patient with him; do not allow his behavior to change your positive regard for him. Over time you will notice a more positive response.
