ATER I OVULATED I WAS GIVEN 10,000 UNITS OF HCG TO HELP BUILD UP MY UTERINE LINING. HOW LONG DOES THE HCG SHOT STAY IN YOUR SYSTEM? I RECEIVED THE SHOT ON TUESDAY AND THAT SUNDAY I DID A PREGNANCY TEST AND IT WAS POSITIVE. COULD IT BE FROM THE HCG SHOT?

YES THE HCG SHOT CAN AFFECT A PREGNANCY TEST DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE HCG MARKER IS WHAT THE TEST IS PICKING UP. TO BE SURE YOU ARE PREGNAT YOUR DOCTOR CAN ORDER AN HCG QUANATATIVE BLOOD TEST TO MARK THE ACTUAL AMOUT OF HCG IN YOUR BLOOD TO DATE A PREGNANCY (I HAD A MISCARRIAGE IN 1997 AND HAD THE HCG QUAN DONE) IT IS A LONG ROAD TO FERTILITY, DONT' GIVE UP!
