HELP! NEED NEW IDEAS !!!!!!!

I have a seven year old who is all around a very good kid. His problem lies with his focus and attention when it comes to following directions which causes him to get notes home from school.  I watch him and he seems to get overly stimulated by his environment and tries to behave, but i think he genuinly forgets and gets too excited.  ARE THERE ANY EXCERSICES WE CAN DO TO IMPROVE HIS FOCUS AND ATTENTION? Please do not tell me my son has ADHD. I dont believe in that.

PS  There is also something called 'Attend" by Vaxa most health food stores will carry this,it is Homeopathic and works on a sub-molecular level to naturally improve Focus concentration and memory, it supports the central nervous system.

Yes ....experts have said that a multiple Vitanin-mineral supplement with antioxidants Vit C and B Complex has the same efficacy as Ritalin , some parentsalso give fish oil.c and the essential amino acids, nutrution counts ,try eliminating allergenic foods such as dairy and wheat for a month then adding them back, cutting out additives may help. If you google it there is information regarding these methods instead of getting heavy Meds with side effects. you seem to realise that ,good luck

I'm in the same situation.  I have been researching so I am fully prepared for his doctor appointment next week.  I want to rule out other causes for his attention problems.  I will not put him on drugs  I have changed his diet, which he is NOT happy about.  Here are the following things I have found that can cause short attention spans that I am going to have the doctor order tests for:

-allergies (food)
-Vit B, Vit C, Iron, Magnesium, Fatty Acids deficiencies
-low blood sugar
-thyroid
-Lyme disease
-hearing
-eyesight
