Yes you can. Head lice is the human flees.. They jump from head to head with just the simple fact of one head sitting next to another. Or picking them up. I am not saying always, but yes usually. No biggie. Plenty of shampoos that are meant for lice. They arent hard to get rid of.. Make sure you wash all your bed sheets, they tend to sometimes linger. Not too long for they need a head to survive..Good luck.

It is very unlikely that you will contract head lice and nits unless you have close head to head contact as these parasites cannot fly or jump. They tend to travel along the hair shaft. This explains why it is mainly a child health issue as children tend to play together and touch heads.

It is relatively easy to deal with so long as you are thorough with your treatment. It is important to get rid of the nits (the head lice eggs) thoroughly or the infestation will continue.

You can get more information on how to get rid of nits and head lice at http://www.nit-nurse.com/getridofnits.asp
