Help!!! My 5yr old son touched my breast while I was sleeping.

I am a single mom of a wonderful boy who is very affectionate.I am the same way so that is part of the reason y he is like that,I love the hugs and kisses :) but he started noticing girls very early which i thought was normal, maybe a little early but definately normal.My one fault I would say was allowing him to sleep with me.He has his own room but I had become so used to it that i thought it was harmless until recently i felt him touch my breast while i was sleeping.Thinking it was in error i pushed his hand off while i was still half asleep but then i felt it return and when i woke up saying what are you doing he said it was by mistake.It clearly wasn't because he would not have been awake.I talk very openly and direct to my son and explained in the morning that sleeping with mommy is no longer allowed and that he cannot touch his mother or anyone in that manner and to talk to me if he is curious about certain things.I dont know if i should not be as affectionate with him but it is hard, do i now reject him now when he is being lovable.Do i punish him for touching me? Or if i just leave it with the talk i had with him, will it be enough. What do i do i dont want him to be ashamed of his curiousity, I just want him to be clear its inapproriate when directed to his mother or anyone at this age.  
Help, is my child showing normal behavior or should I take him to see a dr.

He is a curious and probably perfectly normal little boy.

Explain to him about the provate areas of your body and his body.  Do not shame him, do not punish him,  This will pass.

Hi, My son is 5 yr old now, but he did do the same few times when he was 3  when my sister was feeding her newborn, he wanted me to give him too.  when he toughed me i told him that he cant tough like that because this is where milk come from so you can be fed when u were baby,  I gave good explanation of why we have to feed through the breast   to a baby (because baby cant eat hot food with big chicken like mom and dad eat, it will get stuck inside the throat and mom could have had u) This explained to him well.  I also told GOD gave mom 's to give the best milk to their kid like you so you can be a storng man and become a police officer to protect other.. (it know i was bull shitting) but hey it worked well.  Ever since that age he never touches it.  But will ask me what is it when i changing even though  i wear my bra.  I also tell him that he know why god gave and he shouldn't be asking like that and if does God will take away the best game he like and give it the newborn who is still having moms milk.  That was the end of it.  Its alomost 2 yrs past he haven't asked me that yet and never touched me and still sleep between me an my husband.  Tell him stroies that they will picture it in thier mind.

You haven't done anything wrong with your child.  It was a good idea to not let him sleep with you.  The hugs and kisses need to continue, or he will feel less loved.  It is important that he know what is appropriate touching and what is not.  A good way to explain inappropriate places is: anything that a bathing suit covers is inappropriate to touch (unless a doctor or parent needs to help).  I wouldn't punish him unless he tried this again after you have explained what is expected.
