How can I deal with this kind of behavior.

Every time that my grandaughther is seated in her car seat, she began to move her legs.  Aparently she touch her parts with the seat strap and get excited.  She is only 3 and a half year.  Thank You

It may not be that ,what indication is there that she is doing it for that reason,is she the only child who travels in the car or do others travel with her ?

I have heard of lots of children doing this.  It's very normal, and it feels good to them. If this is in fact what she is doing, I wouldn't worry too much about it.  Normal behavior as far as I know.

This seems incredibly common.  Honestly,  it's a surprise to me how many girls do this.

Asomante, if you have time,  spend a couple hours going through this forum and reading how many preschool girls behave this way,  to the surprise of their parents.  There are so many parents on this forum who report this exact behavior.

I will echo what the other people in this thread said.  It is normal, and I probably wouldn't worry too much about it.
