I believe I have high blood pressure, asking for clarification.

I don't think there is a specific sub-category for blood pressure, so I'm going to post it in here, since I am, infact, a teen.

Recently, I have had strange things happen to me at night, when I try to fall asleep. This started happening about 2 days ago.

Whenever I try to sleep, I fall silent for about 5-8 minutes than doze off, but usually right before that happens, I got an incredibly horrible feeling. The feeling is located in my head, at the center to be exact, and it feels like I've been hit with a 100 pound hammer square in the face, my heartbeat also increases rapidly, which I assume is normal.

Any clarifications, perhaps some suggestions?

I have high blood pressure and have never felt that, but I have gotten a general head ache when I miss taking my medication for it.  At a minimum, try to find one of those blood pressure machines in a store, or someone that knows how to take it (a nurse) and have it taken both at night and in the morning first thing (mine varies).  Of course go see an actual doctor to have it taken, but my doctor likes when I provide him a history of my readings since I saw him last.   DONT WAIT - high blood pressure can be dangerous!
