I need help with my kids

I am 27 & i have 5 kids four boys n one girl well the help i need is with my three older boys they r 11yrs old and twins that r 9 years old every were i go they are very wild and dont lisen to me. They forget wat that have to do and have of the time they r in lala land they dont pay attention to me or noone eles they always fight with each other. I have a hard time to make them do their home work they loose consatration really fast and there teachers tell me the same thing my boyfriend always tell me that they have adhd and i never lisen to him untill the teachers told me that she thinks they have adhd plz tell me doc with wat i have said do u think my kids have adhd  i mean now im startin to think that they do and im worried that my four and one yr old r goin to.learn from their brothers

While the children may display ADHD, and the only way to figure that out is through an evaluation, you need some basic help in how to manage behavior. Your description indicates a chronic problem and you are going to have to bite the bullet and learn more effective ways to manage behavior. If you read this Forum on any regular basis, you know that the method I recommend is Lynn Clark's SOS Help for Parents (see www.sosprograms.com). But you will probaly not be able to accomplish the goal of becoming a more capable 'behavior manager' without professional help. I would recommend you enroll in a behavior management course and/or arrange an evaluation with a behavioral specialist. Your kids have now developed a habit of ignoring your instructions and they are not going to rid themselves of that habit overnight. they will change to the extent that you can change. So the key is you, not them.
