Infatuation of breast

by M, Jul 25, 2000 12:00AM
My daughter is five and she was a breastfed baby for 1 year.  She is constantly feeling my breast and laying on them.  She says she loves them.  Is this normal?  And how should I react?

Dear M,

This behavior is not appropriate, and you can set a straightforward, calm limit on it. Simply tell your daughter that touching your breasts is not appropriate and that she should not do it. Now, relative to resting on you, as long as there is no actual touching your breasts with her hands, it sounds OK. You have to be the judge about the nature of the physical contact.
