KINDERGARTEN BEHAVIOR

5 year old in Kindergarten.  Has A's for grades, which, by the way, I think is bonkers to give Kindergarteners grades. Her teacher consistently tells me she doesn't " stay on task".  I have gave her several ideas to try with her but I don't think the teacher has used them yet.  I really feel like my daughter just needs guidence from her teacher on litterally  how to pay attention or participate but, the teacher may not feel like it is her duty or she may be to busy. We keep in touch but it is very limited conversation, like I would ask how she's doing and she would say, not good and that's it.   How can I help my little one at home to concentrate more and stay on task at school. she has no siblings or family friends her age and is struggling some to develop social skills which I am also trying to help her with.

My situation is somewhat the same My son who is also 5 & in K has issues talking or moving around the class out of turn and his teacher seems annoyed. Like its not her job to try and manage him. If it wasnt for the Principal I really think that this teacher would have asked me to remove my son. I would recommend a meeting with the teacher and principal to discuss your concerns. What are THEY doing to help your child.
