MY 4 1/2 YR CHILD PEE'S IN NIGHT AND KEEPS POOPING IN HIS UNDERWEAR

MY SON IS 4 1/2 YRS OLD . HE POOPS IN HIS UNDERWEAR AND DOESN'T INFORM US . I DONT KNOW WHETHER HE IS DOING PURPOSLY OR DUE TO SOME REASON. WE TRIED WITH THE DOCTORS THEY TOLD MIGHT BE BECAUSE HE IS MORE INTERESTED IN PLAY OR WATCHING T.V. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO.. HE POOPS IN HIS UNDERWAER AND STAND STILLS AND WHEN WE ASK WHETHER HE HAD POOP HE SAYS NO WHEN WE SEE OURSELVES WE TAKE HIM TO TOILET . BUT HE HIMSELF DOESN'T INFORM US . ALSO HE PEES ON BED AT THE NIGHT .PLS ADVISE.

You can ignore the nocturnal enuresis. This will improve as he develops. Yes, it's a nuisance because it requires frequent laundering of bedclothes etc., but try not to become frustreated by it. he caanot help it and it's important you don't convey disapproval. Relative to the soiling, have him sit on the potty at regular intervals, and take notice of the pattern in which he moves his bowels. This will help you know when to schedule the times. He is not doing this on purpose, so be sure not to think this because it will influence your emotional and behavioral reaction to the situation.
