Missing Period

I have not gotten my period for two months. I am sexually active so I took a pregnancy test the thing is it came bace negative I am 17 and my parents dont know I am sexually active what could be some other reasons for not getting my period? Please Help

Your question should ne handled by a gynecologist, and it makes sense to bring it up with your primary care doctor or OB/GYN clinician.

hi sammy someother reasons that can casue you to miss periodes are stress, being to thin, and also some athletes will due to a low fat contient.   also if you are on contraceptive like depo perveria this can cause people not to minstrate as ewll my friend did not have a period the whiole time she was one it for almost 9mo, but please have a blood test some times for what ever reason the test will be negative but it shoulfd be posative in home test and blood test is more accurate..  good luck hope this helped:)
