Motor Tics

About a year ago, my 5 1/2 year old daughter began blinking her eyes.  I took her to an opthamologist who said she was fine and that it would go away.  He was right, but now it has come back.  She is 6 1/2 and now she is consistently shrugging her shoulders.  Are these two things just simple motor tics or something more serious?

I would go deeper.  A friend of mine had this happen to her daughter.  They gave her medication for the tics, which really wiped her out.  When this wasn't helping, they did more research to find out that she has strep in her blood.  She has to be on antibiotics for 3 years and must be watched very closely.  I'm not sure, but it might be worth seeing a specialist.  Good luck and God bless.
