My 2.8 mo. old daughter is doing the blinking again

Hi,

My daughter did the frequent blinking last year right after she started going to a preschool program for the first time.  She was 27 mos old then.  We took her to an ophtalmologist soon after it started and he didn't find anything wrong.  He asked us whether there had been any changes or new stressors in our household. The Dr. still prescribed eye drops for 3 days then.  A few days later the blinking went away.  The frequent blinking lasted for a 2-week period at that time.  Now, she just started at a new preschool and by friday of the first week of school the frequent blinking started again.  We live in a very humid climate and since it's summer here there are fans or air conditioners on at most places, including home, car, and school.  We are not sure if the temperature changes or the air circulation aggravates this, but it's possible, because last weekend we went beach camping and the blinking stopped.  We came back on Sunday night and the blinking started again and it's been this way the entire week.  Could this be allergies?  Could it be emotional?

It's probably anxiety - appears to begin before going to preschool.  I don't think it is from stress in the household but stress from attending school.  She's very little - does she have to attend preschool?
