My 4yo son WILL not eat

My recently turned 4yo son is not eating, he refuses to eat anything...he'll go days w/o eating.  He takes lunch to school, and brings it back home untouched, he's constantly picking up some kind of cold, he's seemingly also losing weight. When asked what he wants to eat, he says, "nothing."  Before the totally not eating habit, he would only eat snacks, Goldfish crackers, Honey Buns, basically just "junk" food.  He urinates 3-4 times a day, when he wakes up, before he goes to school (sometimes) when he returns home from school and just before he goes to bed.  His urine has changed color, it's now a darker yellow as opposed to what it was before, which was like a watery light shade. I'm totally at my wits end here without any idea as of what to do.   Would you PLEASE HELP ME, or perhaps offer some suggestions???  Thanking you in advance.

I had a 3 year old who stopped eating.  He had a complete blood count that showed he had fairly severe anemia,  which can cause a loss of appetite.

Have you taken him to the doctor?  You have to be insistent on the fact that he's not eating at ALL,  because picky eating,  or sporadic loss of appetite is very common and not something that is a concern.  So the doc needs to know that he never eats ANYTHING and his urine is now very dark.

Best wishes.

Well, my first response would have been that kids go through fases where they don't eat very much but this sounds like he is just not eating at all. When did it start?
I am not sure this will help or not but here goes.
In our house we all eat the same thing for dinner. There are no request or special orders. We try to make it something everyone likes but in a house of 5 that is dificult but the kids must eat a little bit before they are excused from the table. We may choose a number of bites for example 2 bites of meat, 2 bites of potatos and 1-2 bites of veggie. They are still not eating much but better than nothing. If they decide not to eat the chosen number of bites they then either have to sit there untill bed time or go straight to bed for the night.
You won't be able to control what he eats or doesn't eat at school when you are not there but you can at home.

I hope this helps.
