My 5 year old son pooped behind his bed and didn't tell anyone!!!!

My 5 year old son pooped behind his bed and didn't tell anyone.  Days later we found it and when i asked him he said he didn't want to go to the bathroom. Tonight as i was sitting down at my comp i stepped in a puddle of pee. He said that he accidently laughed too hard. My concern is he plays video games a lot and computer games. i feel that he is getting to entranced in these games and is purposely ignoring the signal to go potty because he doesn't want to stop playing!!! I need your input!! I'm freaking out and not knowing what to do or how to handle this situation!!! PLEASE!

You might want to google encropesis.  If this was a one time thing - I wouldn't be too concerned but if it is ongoing - this could be his problem..

You can build in "breaks" into his playing video games schedule - maybe set a timer......

Limiting video games may do the trick as well......do not forget that he is only five

The excessive use of video games is in your hands, also computer gamnes it sounds too much especially as he is only 5 year old, is there something he is upset about, has he aan older sibling?
