Likewise I cannot say that the teacher's regard for your son is not contributing to the problem, but the reality is that most teachers do not behave in such a fashion and I would be very reluctant to attribute his difficulties to the possibility that his teacher does not like him. A prudent approach would be to have him evaluated by the school guidance personnel or an outside clinician who can then collaborate with the school folks.
