My 6 year old son pees pants at school

Hi, I'm at my wits end! My 6 year old soon to be 7 first grader has been peeing his pants on and off at school.  Now we are in May and for the last few weeks it has become constant everyday.  The teacher called me in to complain about this has even put him on the spot but it only made it worse.  I have been having a difficult time with the teacher this year.  She has no words of encouragement towards my son has "targeted" him from day one has turned this lovely energetic talkative smart child into a heaping ball of nerves.  He refuses to talk in class or participate, when I help with work at home he understands everything I tell him and completes things with ease.  When he brings work he's completed in the classroom he comes home with D's.  I know he's afraid of her for whatever reason, he's afraid to make mistakes etc. I don't know how to correct this problem anymore we don't have any issues at home.  He has always used the bathroom!  Since being toilet trained he's never had not even one accident!! Not even in kindergarden.  Now all of a sudden he pees bed at home has nightmares and pees pants at school.  I think its stress and fright.  What do you think?
Please help me cause I spend all my days worrying what's happening at school and when I go to pick him up my stomach is in knots thinking of what will she say to me now (for the past 9 months I have had nothing but nasty comments from her everyday!)  As far as I'm concerned she's unfit to teach primary grades.  Mothers of past have warned me about her.  She is young not married no children and very very unpleasant for lack of a better word!!
Please help me!!

I almost cried reading this-  you need to talk to the administration of this school!  This is unfair to your son, and to you!  I don't know what to say except that the administration should know about this-  her contract comes up every year, and they can not renew it if she is being harmful to children!

Good luck!

This is a sad issue maybe the teacher doesnt remind children to take a "potty break" from your post I would be inclined to find your child another school as this teacher does seem to have a problem and your son is rightly upset, have you spoken to the principal of the school , it is important to put your childs welfare first , look for another school and definatly put in a complaint about this teachers attitude, for other childrens sake..Good luck let us know what you decide to do..
